KEYSMATE

The idea came from Indonesia Bassist, Barry Likumahuwa after seeing the four young pianists and keyboardists took part on the opening of Joey Alexander Live Concert.  KeysMate plays Jazz with primary musical style that has big influence of Funk, Gospel and Soul Music. 

KeysMate was formed in Jakarta in 2016 by 4 talented pianists and keyboardists ie. IVAN ALIDIYAN, who has learned piano at 4 years old, took a course at FARABI Music School and has traditional music group “Keubitbit”.  CHRIST STANLEY, graduated in Music Education (Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni/Pendidikan Seni Musik) in Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, started Jazz Piano lesson in Bandung at Venche Music School and Ponpin Music School with Merry Kasiman and Dhani Syah (degree from Gronigen Conservatory) as well as Nial Djuliarso, Master's from Juliard School, US. MARTHIN SIAHAAN, attended IMI (Institut Musik Indonesia) Jakarta in faculty of keyboard under Alvin Lubis & Triono Pudji Susetio as his teachers and a member of Andre Dinuth Project, Barry Likumahuwa Experiment, Dewa Budjana group and Dua Drum. YONGKY VINCENT, a Runner Up 2011 Indonesia’s Got Talent and Semi Final Asia’s Got Talent; is still studying undergraduate program in Conservatory of Music Pelita Harapan University, Karawaci majoring in Jazz and Popular Music Concentration under guidance of Joy Marantika, Sri Hanuraga.  He is a member of Bandanaira, a duo project with singer Lea Simanjuntak and have 3 albums, “The Journey of Indonesia” is one of them.
