Freedoms Jazz Festival [FJF] held by iCanStudioLive once a year, and in 2016 this is the second time FJF held. As the name implies, FJF held in August are from 1 to 17 to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, our beloved country.
If you see a line-up of the performers do not expect that the performers all are names that are already known to the public in the country. The viewer is a combination between young musicians and experienced musicians in the jazz world that their work has been recognized and acknowledged in Indonesia. This is interesting because Freedoms Jazz Festival featuring colorful characters and sound from the musicians.
Experienced musicians who certainly have no doubt of their quality. However, the young musicians who performed well worth a thumbs up going their talents in music. In fact, in appearance, there are musicians who although young in age, but very mature in terms musicality. Featuring young jazz musicians Indonesia gifted in a festival is an effort that should be appreciated.
What's interesting about this festival, even if held in a studio, but iCanStudioLive is a studio that has state-of-the-art quality of the recording, mixing and mastering were handled by an experienced engineer reliable. And that is also important in a live show that is lighting. Lighting design in this iCanStudioLive really noticed and highly profitable main photographer to capture every show.
In a small scale, I believe that Freedoms Jazz Festival is the best jazz festival in Indonesia that should be supported so that every year is always able to fill the agenda of jazz music in Indonesia.
