1 - 17 AUGUST 2015, during 17 consecutive days of the festival, participant have warmly embraced the Jazz festival. The enthusiasm of hundreds Indonesia’s young musicians and the audiences and the great interest generated in the social media worldwide community took us by surprise. We had expected a good turn-out, along the period we already reach 475,623 people, most of them are Next Generation; 311,315 by age 18–24, 25–34 (86,754), 65+ (26,069). Referred to the first year of '15 as a great success: Capturing young people's attention as well their parents.

FREEDOM TO EXPRESS, FREEDOM TO IMPROVISE, FREEDOM TO GROW AND BE RECOGNIZED. iCSL PRESENCE 17 DAYS OF GLORIOUS AND ENTICING JAZZ FESTIVITIES THAT INCLUDE:

• Design and develop more value-added relevant contents.
• Host many world-class works of production.
• Through surveys, events and focus groups enabling businesses to learn about next generation markets.
• Regular promotion of young talents expressed of the future outlooks.
• Adapting to a changing world, bringing talents to a global audience.

Moreover, participants from the organizer and custodians to the contributors and sponsors, to the musicians themselves will be treated to the emergence of our best new and young talents who deserve everyone’s attention and support in their passage toward a remarkable career.

There are two ways to audition. Talent can submit a video of their audition or audition in person at one of freedomsJazz open call cities and venue.

Professional Journalist or Music Curator made open nominations in one session selection round; those who received the most nominations advanced to the final ballot also rewarded with award winning prize. In this awards event will also be the launch of 17 dedicated albums from freedomsJazz Festival.

International Jazz Day is the culmination of Jazz Appreciation Month, which draws public attention to jazz and its extraordinary heritage throughout April. In December 2012, the United Nations General Assembly formally welcomed the decision by the UNESCO General Conference to proclaim April 30 as International Jazz Day. The United Nations and UNESCO now both recognize International Jazz Day on their official calendars.
